Musculoskeletal Health Collaborative Exchange Summit, April 16, 2010
Building the collective policy agenda for active aging through musculoskeletal health and mobility.
The Canadian Orthopaedic Care Strategy Group is hosting a conference with Canadian-based musculoskeletal health stakeholders on April 16, 2010, in Toronto. A collaborative conference, its purpose is to:
- Address specific requirements of policy and research needs towards developing a more integrated and comprehensive musculoskeletal health strategy;
- Evaluate and advance opportunities.
The development of this pan-MSK strategy is premised on creating a collective voice and policy agenda relative to musculoskeletal health and mobility as Canadians age in an active lifestyle.
The Canadian Orthopaedic Care Strategy Group is bringing together various independent and interdependent organizations, thought leaders, researchers, key opinion makers and experts to collectively focus on what is required to raise the overall awareness of musculoskeletal health and mobility. As a united force, we can raise awareness of what is working now, as well as identifying gaps and opportunities in the musculoskeletal health and mobility strategy development process.
